•Showstopper:Jermie Calhoun (Van, Texas) was considered the No. 2 running back prospect in the country. Calhoun is a playmaker who can run between the tackles or break a big run. He will have a chance to join the running back rotation along with DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown.

•Instant impact:J.R. Bryant, a 4-star junior-college linebacker, will be given a chance to replace Lewis Baker as OU's starting outside linebacker. Like Baker, Bryant has tremendous speed.
•Well stocked: OU has reeled in three 4-star wide receivers in Jameel Owens, Josh Jarboe and Dejuan Miller, and could bring in a 5-star prospect if Julio Jones signs with the Sooners on Wednesday.
•Be patient: Quarterback Landry Jones (Artesia, N.M.) will have to wait his turn behind Sam Bradford, but when he gets his chance in three years, look out. Jones is similar in style to Bradford, but had a better high school career, leading his team to a state championship.
•Sleeper:Kicker Tress Way, from Tulsa Union, will have a chance at winning the starting kicking job. With Garrett Hartley's graduation, OU doesn't have a proven commodity at kicker.
•Under the radar: Dejuan Miller has been overshadowed by Jameel Owens and Josh Jarboe and the prospective signing of Julio Jones, but at 6-foot-6, Miller could prove to be the best receiver from this class.
•Last-minute surprise:Alabama is the favorite to land Julio Jones, but OU could shock Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide by plucking the state of Alabama's top overall player.
