1. Just in time for Valentine's Day, An Affair of the Heart returns to the metro area. Find your sweetheart's desire as you peruse table after table of handcrafted gifts, antiques, collectibles and gourmet food.

Big, bad trucks
2. Rising fuel prices won't stop the car-crushing fun at this weekend's Extreme Monster Truck Nationals. Equalizer, Hot Tamale and Get 'Er Done are among the trucks doing battle. You'll also see Freestyle Moto-X motorbike stunts and side-by-side mud drags.

Wine your valentine
4. Enjoy great cuisine for a good cause at the 2008 Valentines and Wines wine tasting and auction, presented by the McBride Clinic and McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital. Sample a variety of wines and food from some of the area's finest restaurants.
