OU Red-White game set

NORMAN — Oklahoma has released its spring practice schedule, which will include two scrimmages and be capped by the Red-White Game on April 12.

The dates are March 5, 7, 10, 12, 24, 26, 28, 29; April 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 and 10.

Scrimmages will be held on March 29 and April 5.

Running backs DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown will miss spring practices recovering from knee injuries.

Murray dislocated his kneecap last season against Texas Tech. Brown had a procedure done in the off-season to "clean up” his knee.

The absence of Murray and Brown means incoming freshman Justin Johnson and Mossis Madu will share time in the spring.

OU will also be without Auston English, who is recovering from a shoulder injury. English also missed three games last year with a hairline fracture in his ankle.

Wide receiver Adron Tennell, who tore ligaments in his knee, also will be out for the spring.
