Jay Sanders doesn't build houses as his father did, but he specializes in developing properties.
"What he would do is he would ... go buy a piece of property, hire somebody to draw a plan, hire all the people to build the house and then work with a Realtor to sell it. And that's kind of what a movie producer does,” Sanders said in a phone interview from his Los Angeles office.
