City schools quarantine recalled beef

Schools in the Oklahoma City district have some of the frozen beef from a southern California slaughterhouse that is being investigated for mistreating cattle, a district official said.

It's difficult to determine how much recalled beef is at each campus, district spokeswoman Kathleen Kennedy said. The district orders 10 tons of beef each month, she said.
