Snail's pace: School competition needs a push

T HERE'S more than just a modicum of truth in this recent statement by state Sen. Glenn Coffee : "We work in incrementalism in this building.”

Coffee's comment came as he explained why it may take beyond the current legislative session to successfully broaden the state's charter school law and allow federally recognized American Indian tribes to sponsor schools. His assessment is certainly accurate.
