Miami may have just had its first losing season in a decade. But Hurricanes second-year coach Randy Shannon is stockpiling talent in Coral Gables.

That trend continued last week when Miami got a commitment from the top running back in the nation in Bryce Brown, following older brother Arthur Brown, a linebacker who signed with the Hurricanes earlier this month.
OU, among other schools, had offered scholarships to both Browns.
Miami signed one of the nation's top-5 recruiting classes in February and could repeat that feat again next year with Bryce Brown already on board.
The Sooners hammered Miami 51-13 this past season, but their return trip to Florida in 2009 could be OU's toughest non-conference game in a long time if Shannon can rebuild with his young talent.
With Bryce Brown headed to Miami, OU could shift its recruiting focus to one of his good friends, Carl Albert's David Oku, who is considered the second-best RB prospect in the nation.
•AP has fan site: Need more Allen Patrick? The former OU running back has a fan site at www.allenpatrick.org. The site, which claims not to be affiliated with OU or Patrick, has several features, including pictures and videos.
Patrick was in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday, although he didn't perform in any drills due to a mild MCL strain he suffered in the East-West Shrine Game.
Patrick will have another chance to perform in front of scouts at OU's pro day on March 11.

Thank GOD patrick is gone....now maybe murray and the new stud calhoun (might be spelt wrong sorry) can get all the calls. i never thought patrick was even close to murray. i dont understand wilson or stoops letting patrick get so many calls instead of murray.
