Junior Terrel Harris started in place of freshman James Anderson on Tuesday night. It was the first time this season – and thus in his Oklahoma State career – that Anderson did not start. OSU coach Sean Sutton said Anderson did not start because he was about three minutes late to a team meeting.

Harris started the first 19 games of the season but was replaced by Obi Muonelo prior to the Oklahoma game in late January.
•Technically speaking: Sutton was whistled for a technical foul midway thorough the first half. Sutton disagreed with an offensive foul called on Harris when the junior was driving in transition.
It was only the second time Sutton has received a technical this season. The first time was at Kansas State.
•Silencing the crowd: After he hit the game-winning shot, Byron Eaton could be seen talking to the Missouri fans. Eaton said it was something he had been doing all game long, every time he hit a shot.
"Throughout the game they were saying some mean things,” Eaton said. "After I hit that last shot I wanted to hear what they had to say then.”
But in true Eaton fashion, the junior promptly apologized.
"That's something I shouldn't be doing,” Eaton said. "I didn't need to do that so I'm gonna apologize to the coaches and my teammates for doing that. That's very unprofessional what I did.”
•Back on the bench: Oklahoma State assistant coach James Dickey was back on the bench for Tuesday night's game in Columbia. Dickey missed Saturday's win over Kansas after his father died last week in Arkansas.
The funeral was Monday, and Dickey drove up to Columbia and joined the team on Tuesday.
•Cold in Columbia: Prior to Tuesday night's win, OSU was 6-43 against Missouri in Columbia. From 1979 until 1996, OSU did not win once in Columbia, and the Cowboys have never won back-to-back games in Columbia.
•Fewer free throws: In OSU's five games prior to the Missouri game, the Cowboys made more free throws (104) than their opponents attempted (100).
That trend was bucked by the Tigers. OSU attempted just eight free throws, while Missouri made 12 of 17.
Eaton was notably absent from the line, making one of two. Eaton said he had a hard time getting a read on how the officials were calling fouls, which impacted his ability to drive to the basket.

Mizzou fans are notorious for being very crude and personally attacking opposing players. I remember Joe Adkins yelling back at them too. While he shouldn't have, it was funny that Eaton talked back.
The truth is we have always had a hard time getting a fair shake in Columbia. Remember even Paul Hansen complained about some strange calls there. We have gone there with a far superior team and our best player gets in foul trouble in the first half but not in any other arena. The only way you can be 6-47 some where is that you either suck or something isn't quite right. This only shows how mentally tough our boys are with all the adversity they still have something in the tank to make a run in the part of our schedule that is least likely to do so. Cowboys just don't quit unlike some other state schools. I am hopeful that this is where Sean has turned the corner and he will be our coach till he doesn't want it anymore.
Mike, the reason he didn't get to the line had much more to do with his lack of aggressiveness than officiating. He didn't drive the lane as he as done so effectively recently. Sean has been trying to get him to do that since he stepped on campus, but he has only done it well these last few games. Maybe he had a letdown from the KU game, or maybe he just couldn't find the open lanes due to Mizzou's good zone defense. But the officiating had nothing (or very little) to do with it.
Eaton was biting his tongue on the officiating. It was probably the worst officiated night of the season for OSU. There is a reason Sean yelled enough to get a technical called against him. The whole night was very one-sided from the get go. With that being said, its a miracle that OSU escaped with a victory! There's something to be said when Eaton averages 10-15 FTs in the last 4 games, yet only went to the line ONCE last night...
