ESPN extends Big 12 contract
Big 12 football games will remain on ESPN for the next two seasons through a new licensing agreement with Fox Sports Net. As part of the contract, seven Big 12 home games will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 each year, with games on Thursday or Saturday. Two 2008 telecasts have been finalized, both on Thursday: West Virginia at Colorado on Sept. 18 and Texas A&M at Texas on Thanksgiving.
