The Butler (Kan.) Community College transfer is projected to fill a big void in the middle of OSU's defense. Miller is athletic for his size (6-foot-4, 310 pounds). He should record a few sacks. But his primary role will be to clog the middle and anchor OSU's run defense.
A Haiti native, Antoine didn't play much high school football. He was a starter on the juco level only one season. Antoine, though, blossomed into a juco All-American. A fierce hitter, Antoine lacks experience. With Andre Sexton moving to linebacker, Antoine will compete for significant playing time.
The redshirt freshman recorded 57 sacks in three years at Dallas Lincoln but was sidelined midway through his senior year by a freak cracked hip injury. If he develops this spring, Jones could emerge as an invaluable pass rusher on third down and passing situations.
The Cowboys need some young receivers to step up. Cooper hauled in 178 catches for 3,073 yards and 34 touchdowns his final two years at Mustang. A hamstring injury prevented him from playing as a true freshman. This spring he can take a huge step towards earning a key role.
