OSU coach Mike Gundy said wide receiver Artie Woods and center David Washington have both progressed well from injuries.

Woods suffered a severe back injury last summer. He will be held out of contact drills this spring but should be cleared for all football activities in June.
"Artie will do everything except get hit,” Gundy said. "Artie is running like he was a year ago. He's running well. We haven't timed him but he's running fast. I use the old Pat Jones theory. If you run 4.3 or 4.4 (in the 40-yard dash) you're running really fast.”
Washington suffered a broken leg in OSU's third game against Troy. The senior from Guthrie will be held back until after spring break in mid-March. Washington might be switched to guard.
"With his experience we preferred him to be closer to full speed,” Gundy said. "He'll start back at the center spot. But you know how coach Wick (Joe Wickline) moves them around.”
•Payback?: Troy was viewed as a trap game last season. This year it will be a revenge game. Troy coach Larry Blakeney confessed OSU will pose a daunting challenge.
Despite being a 10-point underdog, the Trojans were a quality team last season. Troy compiled 562 total yards and led 41-10 after three quarters. But the Trojans must replace 11 starters, 13 if you include special teams.
"They'll have a lot of fun with us this year,” Blakeney said. "We have to replace our quarterback, running back, fullback, a receiver, three defensive linemen, two cornerbacks, two linebackers, plus our punter and kicker.
"We have to replace a lot of really good football players.”

Looky here! Roy commenting on ANOTHER OSU article. Admit it buddy, you're a closet OSU fan. Come on into the light. It feels good. GO POKES
The Troy game was a disaster on so many levels. It was the beginning of the end of Bobby Reid's lackluster performances and the end of OSU's pre-season hype of "playing with the big boys".
My only hope is that Gundy and the Cowboys learned a very valuable lesson from an "easy W" on the schedule -- nothing is a given. Not even next fall's game with all of the replacement players Troy needs should the Cowboys take a game lightly.
Sounds like the Troy coach is setting up another trap.
We'll see if Gundy can keep 'em focused early and often and continue the success of the late season.
