A couple weeks ago three particular losses were keeping Sean Sutton up at night: Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma, which OSU lost in succession by a total of eight points.

As if to highlight OSU's 180-degree turnaround, the Cowboys won three games in a row (Texas A&M, Kansas and Missouri) prior to Nebraska by a total of eight points.
"I just felt like we were so close to all those losses that if we just continued to work on the practice court and correct some of the mistakes we were making, then we would start winning these games,” Sutton said.
Of course on Saturday OSU also showed it could win by a comfortable margin, defeating Nebraska 77-63.
•Bracketologists' diagnosis: ESPN.com's Andy Glockner described the Big 12 "officially a complete mess” in his Sunday "Bubble watch” column. The good news for OSU fans? The Cowboys are on Glockner's radar.
Predicting anywhere from four to six bids out of the conference, Glockner said Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and OSU all "have work left to do.”
•Shooting sharply: After a week of strong 3-point shooting, OSU is now third in the conference in 3-point shooting percentage at 36.8 percent. Against Missouri and Nebraska the Cowboys made 23-of-43 3-point attempts (56 percent).
Marcus Dove and Byron Eaton have been particularly impressive from long range, combining to make 11-of-14 3-pointers in the last two games.
