McAlester libel suit dismissed
A McIntosh County judge has dismissed a libel lawsuit filed against an Internet opinion site by an associate of former state Sen. Gene Stipe.
Associate District Judge James R. Pratt said Steve Covington failed to prove that either the McAlester Watercooler or its operator, Harold King , had cast Covington in a false light.
