Clarke scores 35 to lead Cardinals to a state title
As a seventh grader, Rotnei Clarke made his uncle and coach, Kelly Clarke , a promise after Kelly's McAlester basketball team lost in the Class 5A state semifinals.
"I told him he would never win a state championship until I was leading his team,” Rotnei Clarke said.
