Math can be fun and easy as Pi(e)
NORMAN — It was a well-rounded day at Norman High School as students participated in Pi Day , a mathematical celebration Friday of all things round.
Students at schools throughout the district joined in Pi Day activities. Pi, a mathematical term equal to about 3.14, is used to calculate the area and circumference of circles.
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 every year.
