SAPULPA — The skeletal remains found in wooded area in Creek County over the weekend have been identified as a Tulsa teenager missing since November.
Using dental comparison, the state medical examiner's office identified the remains as that of 13-year-old Cori Baker, who has been missing since Nov. 9, when her older sister's 19-year-old boyfriend, Marquis Bullock, picked her up from Union Alternative School.
Shortly after her disappearance, Bullock was arrested in connection with her death but authorities had never been able to find Cori's body.
Tulsa Police Officer Leeland Ashley said the remains, which were found near a paintball field, was nearby the first area police were searching for the missing girl near the Arkansas River.
Bullock was arrested on Nov. 12. and charged with first degree murder. His arraignment planned for this morning was moved to Monday. Bullock remains in the Tulsa County jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
