Memorial to honor group fighting poverty in Kenya

An organization created to fight poverty and violence in a Kenyan slum will be honored with the 2008 Reflections of Hope Award, the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum announced today.

Carolina for Kibera Inc. will receive the award and a $25,000 honorarium April 19, the 13 th anniversary of the bombing of Oklahoma City 's Alfred P. Murrah federal building.
