TULSA — A 14-year-old Tulsa girl was charged as an adult today with first-degree murder, in connection with the stabbing another Tulsa middle school girl to death during a fight over a boyfriend two weeks ago.
Montoya Harris, 14, is accused of killing 13-year-old Sydney Dailey, who died at a Tulsa hospital after being stabbed nine times — her heart pierced twice.
Police have said the dispute over the boy appeared to have been ongoing between the two girls, who attend Madison Middle School.
Soon after Harris was arrested on suspicion of murder, on March 15, Harris' mother has said she found out from the Tulsa County Jail her daughter was pregnant.
