All lanes of westbound Interstate 40 in downtown Oklahoma City have been reopened.
The left westbound lane on the Crosstown Expressway was closed from I-235 to Classen Boulevard through rush hour today while state Transportation Department crews made emergency repairs to the highway.
A hole measuring 1 foot in diameter and several inches deep scarred the left lane of the highway that crosses Classen, department spokeswoman Susan Allison said.
Northbound Classen under I-40 was also closed.
