2. Sean Miller (Xavier): A hot commodity, which explains a $2 million buyout.

3. Kevin Stallings (Vanderbilt): Is said to be ready, willing and able to go elsewhere.

4. Chris Lowery (Southern Illinois): Gave Sean Sutton's his last loss as OSU coach.

5. Keno Davis (Drake): A head-coach designate who has panned out well.

WORTH PONDERING
1. Lon Kruger (UNLV): Loves to golf; use Karsten Creek.

2. Mike Brey (Notre Dame): Program not as big as the name implies.

3. Dana Altman (Creighton): Turned down Arkansas, but worth a shot.

NOT HAPPENING
1. Scott Sutton (ORU): Why would he work for the man who fired his older brother?

2. James Dickey (OSU assistant): A loyal lieutenant. It would be wise to retain him as assistant.

3. Leonard Hamilton (Florida State): Been here, done that.
