Panel backs Sonics tax deal

A House committee gave its approval Thursday to a bill intended to help bring the Seattle SuperSonics to Oklahoma City .

Senate Bill 1819, which would give team owners a $60 million tax break over a 15-year period, goes to the full House. The proposal has yet to be taken up by the Senate.
