At the scrimmage Saturday, it seemed that the OU field goal kickers don't compare well with Garrett Hartley in leg strength or accuracy. Are the coaches worried? — Robert

Fans may rue the day they ever took Hartley for granted. He was anywhere from solid to spectacular during his 3-plus years as OU's field goal kicker.

At this point, the coaches aren't worried because freshman kicker Jimmy Stevens has displayed the leg at times (he kicked a 54-yarder Saturday) and the accuracy at times.

But Stevens needs to improve his consistency (so far, he's made just 19 of 30 of field goals in the two scrimmages) or kicker could become a position of worry in the fall.

Don't forget, incoming freshman Tress Way should make the position stronger when he arrives on campus.
