Real game
Similar to last season, OSU's annual Orange-White spring game Saturday afternoon probably will be a "real game” with players divided into two equal squads.

"I think the fans like that,” said coach Mike Gundy. "That's what we're kind of leaning toward. If we do it we'll split it up equal, including the offensive line. We can't lose a tight end or a running back (to injury), but we're pretty healthy right now.”

Kickoff is at 4 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium. Admission is free.

Suite life: Approximately half of the 2,500 club seats are still available for Saturday's spring game. A $35 club seat includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and non-alcoholic beverages. Fans can purchase club seats at okstate.com.

I don't even understand what he is saying? Barry has been to some OSU games. The only OU alum I see at every event is Toby Keith. Ewwww.

No kidding on that, Shannon. It really creeps me that he hails from my birthplace...I really hate the thought that the gene pool could be so shallow.

Admission is free you idiot, but you can pay $35 for an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet and drinks. That is a pretty good deal. If you don't want to pay, no problem you just sit in the stands and watch the scrimmage. It is also Legends of the Gridiron weekend in which all former players come back and get together. Barry Sanders has done a lot for his school. It has been anonymous just like he wants it. Thurman Thomas took out a multi-million dollar life insurance policy with OSU as a beneficiary several years ago (before the program Boone put in place). I think they do a lot for their school.

How about free admission. Show you want all socio-economic classes of people to be your fans. Unless OSU is trying to project some type of image they would like their fanbase to follow. Sounds about right with that megalomaniacal T-Bone and his money running things. It would be nice to see Gundy succeed. He isn't concerned with such trivial issues. He want to win with his players. Not give orders and expect persons to fall in line because they respect you swiss bank accounts. The Sooner nations foundation is built on something less tangible but more relative and obviously more effective. How much did Barry Sanders do to help his alma mater, and how many sooner show up to show support and interest. They feel like family, and OSU seems to only want interest from a select few. T-Bone's money without a sense of family could run two progams I enjoy watching into the ground. This isn't screwing over third world countries for cheap labor and oil, this is America and college sport are big time with many big time players. He will have to learn new negotiation tactics or his money will not pay off in time for him to see or enjoy it. Like Donald Trump trying to manage the Yankees. They may have the same goal but are to hard headed to accept a different way of achieving it. You can't tell a billionaire anything though. I don't know why we have them around.
