Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder said late last week that when he found a suitable candidate his first call would be to the coach's athletic director. Seems that wasn't the case.

On Wednesday, University of Massachusetts athletic director John McCutcheon said he never heard directly from Oklahoma State, but Ford had informed him he was contacted.
"We did have some very candid conversations with coach Ford and this situation emerged very quickly,” McCutcheon said. "It's part of the business we're in. That's just something we have to deal with is professionalism. When you have an individual as talented as coach Ford was, that represents an institution like he did, you'd be naive to think you're not going to have these situations.”

I doubt Kentucky will ask any permission if he is successful. UMASS did get treated less that admirable. They could end up with a better hire, stranger things have happened.
What happened to Mr. Buttoned Down, Mr. By the Book, Mr. Do things Right, that's what we stand for here at OSU? Guess he is not the gentleman that he pretends to be.
Another example of Holder's arrogance and lack of class and courtesy. He has had enough time to make OSU second class in football and now basketball. Satisfied at 7-6 in football, will he be satisfied at 17-16 in basketball with anyone not named Sutton.
