NBA playoffs: The playoffs open this weekend with four telecasts each on Saturday and Sunday. The Western Conference series appear to be the most competitive with Phoenix at San Antonio, 2 p.m. Saturday, KOCO-5 (Mike Breen, Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy); Dallas at New Orleans, 6 p.m. Saturday, ESPN (Mike Tirico, Hubie Brown, Lisa Salters); Utah at Houston, 8:30 p.m. Saturday, ESPN (Dan Shulman, Doris Burke, Heather Cox); and Denver at L.A. Lakers, 2 p.m. Sunday, KOCO-5 (Breen, Jackson, Van Gundy, Michele Tafoya)

High school basketball: Oklahoma signee Willie Warren, a point guard from North Crowley, Texas, will play in the Jordan Brand Classic from Madison Square Garden at 8 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

Baseball: The L.A. Dodgers at Atlanta series gets two network appearances — at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on KOKH-25 and 12:30 p.m. Sunday on TBS, the Braves' former home. Philadelphia hosts the N.Y. Mets at 7 p.m. Sunday on ESPN. Texas plays at Boston at 6 tonight and 6 p.m. Saturday on FSN Southwest.

College football: ESPNU will televise the Missouri spring game at 1 p.m. Saturday, while the NFL Network will air the Texas Tech spring game at noon.
