Bricktown retail project still on, developer says
Construction of the next retail building in Lower Bricktown, originally expected to be completed by June, has yet to start but developer Randy Hogan says the project is still on track.

The building is to be built between Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill and Harkins Theaters. The design of the building has been changed, Hogan said, and Pete's Piano Bar still will be the anchor tenant of the one-story, 10,557-square-foot property. Pete's Piano Bar is based in Austin with additional locations in Addison, Texas, and Fort Worth's Sundance Square.

Hogan said he is waiting for Pete's Piano Bar to finish a final review of the lease.

"They will be 60 percent of the building,” Hogan said.

"They have a project in downtown Houston where they are going in near the House of Blues, and that has dominated their time. Meanwhile we've been busy with The Centennial.”

Hogan said construction is under way for what will be the new home of LIT Clothing in The Centennial, a development in Lower Bricktown. The store is currently in Deep Deuce. Hogan said final lease negotiations also are under way with owners of Le Cep in Edmond to open a restaurant in The Centennial.
