Freshmen Tom Belza and Davis Duren combined for five hits and seven RBIs as the 13th-ranked Cowboys defeated Mid-America Christian, 10-4, Tuesday night at Reynolds Stadium.

Belza was 3-for-4 and drove in four runs, including a two-run single in the fifth. Duren notched a two-run double in the fourth in his 2-for-3 outing.

Junior Jeff Breedlove earned his second win of the season. The right-hander threw five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and striking out four.

OSUs Matt Hague launched his sixth home run of the season, part of a three-run sixth inning.

The Cowboys (28-10) host the Shockers at 6:30 tonight.

Ah, Roy...I commented this morning on the Big XII (12, in case you don't understand Roman numerals) standings article, where OU is 11th! You were awfully quiet there, weren't you?

Good question Roy. How many NCAA violations will OU receive in the next 3 years? Who knows with their current track record. Also, good comeback on the football thing, this article is clearly all about OSU football. Moron.

Loy from rewisberry- Interesting to see that you have so much interest in OSU athletics. You always seem to show up in the OSU comments; if you weren't jealous that OSU has 48 NCAA RECOGNIZED national championships- you wouldn't be on here.

Loy from rewisberry- The NCAA does not recognize a national football championship. It has either been a press awarded championship or BCS. Sorry to break the news to ya....

Well Brandon, since you brought it up, how many national championships does OSU possess in football? But a better question would be how many underage girls will be raped by your 5-7 dope addicted football program this year?

Nice to see the word FRESHMAN and OSU Baseball in the same sentence. Relying on transfers hasn't worked out so well the past several years. Go Pokes!!
