•Dolphins: Jake Long, T, Michigan. Bill Parcells wastes no time in designating Long as the first pillar in the Dolphins' foundation. Tuna hopes Long can be his left tackle the next dozen years.

•Rams: Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU. Superb inside force can help a Rams' defense that has been brutal against the run for years. Chris Long also a possibility here.

•Falcons: Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College. Team owner Arthur Blank is said to be enamored with the quarterback, who could go a long way toward erasing the bad memories of the Michael Vick era.

•Raiders: Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas. There isn't a tremendous need at running back, but Al Davis has to be tempted by this home run hitter. He'll also be tempted by Howie Long's kid, Chris.

•Chiefs: Chris Long, DE, Virginia. Chiefs dealt pass rusher Jared Allen to Vikings for extra picks, and fill the void with this reliable defender.

•Jets: Vernon Gholston, DE/LB, Ohio State. The Jets got plenty of help at linebacker in signing free agent Calvin Pace, and adding Gholston would be another huge lift to Eric Mangini's 3-4 defense.

•Patriots: Leodis McKelvin, CB, Troy. Pats lost three defensive backs to free agency and need to replenish the roster with young talent. McKelvin's return ability another big plus.

•Ravens: Keith Rivers, OLB, USC. Ravens need help at cornerback and quarterback, but with Ryan and McKelvin off the board, Rivers is the best value.

•Bengals: Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC. Bengals defense has been woeful against the run, so Ellis addresses a glaring need. They might have to trade up to get him.

•Saints: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB, Tennessee State. Saints are trying to trade up with Rams to get a shot at Dorsey.

Failing that, they can address another major need on defense with the cousin of Chargers CB Antonio Cromartie.

•Bills: Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State. Bills have been one of the NFL's weakest passing offenses in recent years.

Thomas gives Lee Evans some help at receiver.

•Broncos: Branden Albert, G/T, Virginia. There are a bunch of top running backs still available, but Mike Shanahan needs to shore up the offensive line first.

•Panthers: Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida. Had 20

sacks in 18 starts. That's the kind of production the Panthers need, especially with Mike Rucker retiring and Julius Peppers coming off a miserable year.
