Okies in the draft

Players with Oklahoma ties who were drafted on Sunday:

Derek Fine, Buffalo Bills: The former Sallisaw standout was drafted in the fourth round. Fine, a tight end, had 46 catches for 394 yards and four TDs in 2007 as a tight end for the Kansas Jayhawks. He became the first Kansas tight end to be drafted since 1971.

Chris Chamberlain, St. Louis Rams: The Bethany native was picked in the seventh round. Chamberlain played linebacker at Tulsa, but he could move to defensive back. Chamberlain was a three-year starter for the Golden Hurricane.

Tashard Choice, Dallas Cowboys: Dallas drafted the former Sooner running back, who transferred to Gerogia Tech, in the fourth round.

Marcus Henry, New York Jets: Former Lawton Eisenhower standout went to the Jets in the sixth round. See Page 4B for more.

Brandon Keith, Arizona Cardinals: The McAlester graduate was taken by the Cardinals in the seventh round. Keith, a former NEO and OU player, started at right tackle for Northern Iowa last season.
