Two girls injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident Sunday night are in fair condition today at OU Medical Center, officials said.

Britney Beall, 9, and Caylee Cox, 10, were riding the ATV near 10312 S Rockwell Ave. when they lost control and went off a bridge. The girls and the four-wheeler fell 15 feet into a creek, a police spokesman said.

Both suffered at least a broken bone. One had facial injuries and the other a chest injury, the spokesman said.

One girl was flown to the hospital and the other was taken by ambulance.

A hospital spokesman said both are in fair condition today.
