Valentine stars in documentary: Former New York Mets manager Bobby Valentine is treated like a rock star in Japan, where he is mobbed in personal appearances and fans chant "Bobby! Bobby!” during pep rallies for his team, the Chiba Lotte Marines. He even has a beer and a hamburger named after him. "The Zen of Bobby V,” debuts at 8 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN2. Three New York University students spent a season with Valentine, capturing him in various activities, including dancing with fans, climbing Mount Fuji and skiing in Sapporo.

Gundy miked: FSN Southwest miked Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy during the Cowboys' spring game for its segment on FSN's Spring Football Tour at 7 p.m. Wednesday. OU's segment will air at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Coming attractions: New OSU basketball coach Travis Ford will appear on "The Oklahoma Sports Blitz,” 10:20 p.m. Sunday, KWTV-9. The show also will have an interview with Rockies outfielder Matt Holliday ... LSU football coach Les Miles is on FSN's "In My Own Words” at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
