Couch backs up Sonic owners
Jim Couch , city manager of Oklahoma City , testified last month that he does not believe allegations the Oklahoma owners of the Seattle SuperSonics had a secret plan to move the team to Oklahoma City from the moment they purchased it.
"Absolutely not,” Couch said. "I don't know how they could have the plan and ... I wouldn't have some type of knowledge.”
