•OU satellite radio rights: Learfield Communications is negotiating a new satellite radio contract for OU football and men's basketball rights after the current three-year contract with Sirius expired, OU athletic spokesman Kenny Mossman said. Learfield owns multimedia rights for OU athletics.

•TNT selects drivers for prerace coverage: TNT has announced that drivers Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Juan Montoya and Jeff Burton will appear on prerace coverage for its six-week Sprint Cup schedule, which begins Sunday with the Pocono 500. Other features include "NASCAR Future Stars,” and "Pride of NASCAR,” highlighting racing legends. Bill Weber will do play-by-play with analysts Wally Dallenbach and Kyle Petty.
•HBO looks at 1960 U.S. Open: An HBO Special, "Nine at Cherry Hills: the Legends of the 1960 U.S. Open,” which debuts at 9 p.m. Wednesday, looks at the tournament at Cherry Hills Country Club as Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus battled down to the wire.
•Extensive soccer coverage: ABC, ESPN2, ESPN and ESPN Classic will combine to televise all 31 matches live from Euro 2008, Europe's quadrennial soccer championship. Coverage, which begins Saturday, includes two matches on ABC, 17 on ESPN2, seven on ESPN and five on ESPN Classic.
•Short takes: The NFL Network will replay Super Bowl XIII from 8:30 to 10 tonight. Pittsburgh defeated Dallas 35-31. ... Former British Open champion Ian Baker-Finch has signed a multiyear contract to join TNT's golf coverage ... Mike Greenberg, Mike Golic and former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka will call the second game of ESPN's season-opening doubleheader — Denver at Oakland at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 8.
