Seeking answers in Weleetka deaths

THE INVESTIGATION, A MYSTERY: Weleetka girls Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker, 13, left, and Skyla Jade Whitaker, 11, were best friends. The first, described by a family member as a big-hearted girl with no enemies, and the second, known as a carefree adventurer, often traveled the road near Taylor's house to play in the rural pastures. Now investigators are trying to find out how a normal afternoon walk ended with their bodies in a ditch.
