•Golf: The U.S. Open from Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego is getting extensive coverage: Noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m. today on ESPN and 2-4 p.m. today, 3-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday on NBC (KFOR-4).

•NBA: The Lakers host Game 5 of the NBA Finals at 8 p.m. Sunday on KOCO-5.

•Baseball: ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to show the entire College World Series from Omaha, Neb. ESPN.360 also will simulcast all games. Coverage begins Saturday on ESPN with Stanford vs. Florida State at 1 p.m. and Georgia vs. Miami at 6 p.m.

Interleague play returns to the majors, including N.Y. Yankees at Houston, 7 tonight, FSNSW; 6 p.m. Saturday, Cox 7; Texas at N.Y. Mets, 6 p.m. Saturday, FSNSW; Boston at Cincinnati, noon Sunday, TBS; Atlanta at L.A. Angels, 7 p.m. Sunday, ESPN.

•Auto racing: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Lifelock 400 from Michigan International Speedway will air at 1 p.m. Sunday on TNT.
