Urban and small stream flood advisory

— Until 11 a.m. today: Cleveland and central McClain counties.

— Until 11:15 a.m. today: Stephens County.

— Until 12:45 a.m. today: Southern Logan and Oklahoma counties.

An urban and small stream flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Flood watch

— Until 2 p.m. today: Alfalfa, Canadian, Cleveland, Dewey, Garfield, Hughes, Kay, Kingfisher, Logan, Major, Noble, Oklahoma, Payne, Pottawatomie, Woods and Woodward counties.

A flood watch means conditions are favorable for flooding. Rivers and creeks may overflow and heavy runoff or drainage of water into low-lying areas may happen.

Flood warning

— Until late today: Arkansas River near Muskogee, Polecat Creek near Sapulpa and Caney River near Collinsville.

At 9 a.m. today, the Arkansas River was nearly a foot above its flood stage.

At 7 a.m. today, the Caney River was nearly 1 3/4 feet above its flood stage.

At 7:30 a.m. today, Polecat Creek was 4 feet above its flood stage.

A flood warning means flooding is occurring or is imminent. Rivers and creeks are overflowing and heavy runoff or drainage of water into low-lying areas is happening.
