this movie was excellent.
honestly, I feel like part of the reason ledger died was because he was so far into the part.. idk just an idea. he was very intact with this character.
he deserves the grammy.

If you loved "Batman Begins" then your definatly going to like "The Dark Knight". Christian Bale and Heath Ledger take the batman movies to a new level. Ledger does a great performance and really gets into the sinister character we know as the Joker. An amazing movie, I know I'll definatly buy the dvd when it comes out around christmas time!

Not as the originals... You just cannot beat Michael Keeton and Jack Nickelson together! But as I say... Its good!

Go to rottentomatoes.com and look at the reviews it's getting. One said this might be one of the ten best movies EVER made. I'll go see it after reading the reviews. I'm not a superhero movie person, but Batman Begins was fantastic. Evidently, this one's better. But then, I've danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.

Dennis, Do you suppose David likes Olive Oil on spinach?

Floyd...Same with me, never got into "Batman." Now, Popeye, that's different. When are they gonna make a movie about "Popeye" (without Robin Williams)? I think David should play the lead.

I never got into Batman. Superman and Captain Marvel were more to my liking altho none of that type fantasy interests me anymore with the exception of some of Disney's like Lion King.

I've been looking forward to this movie for 2 years. "Batman Begins" is one of my favorites, and I look forward to see if they can top that.

Haven't watch Batman since the television series ended. I prefer chick-flicks because (to quote Dolly Parton's character Truvy in Steel Magnolias) "laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."

I haven't seen a Batman movie since Michael Keaton was the lead in 1989, but I may watch when it's released on DVD just to see Ledger's final performance.

Yes, I'll be seeing the movie. I think that "Batman Begins" was much better than the previous Batman movies. As a lifelong graphic novel fan, I'm hoping for more.

Just like Jan, I have no idea who the Dark Knight is. Is it a video game? No, I'll not be seeing it.

If I hadn't read the comment below, I wouldn't have known what, "The Dark Knight", was. Now that I know, I have no particular reason to think I would be interested.

I will go see "The Dark Knight" because I am a fan of the Batman franchise, regardless of the director or what form the movie is shot in. I really LOVE Christian Bale as Batman!

I don't care much for the super hero genre, although it would be interesting to see Heath Ledger's part and try to understand what caused him so much agony that he felt it necessary to over-medicate himself. But I'll probably just wait until it comes out on video.
