•Baseball: After being recently swept by their interleague rivals, the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals try to make amends this weekend. The White Sox host the Cubs for a three-game series, 3 p.m. today, WGN; 2:30 p.m. Saturday, KOKH-25, 7 p.m. Sunday, ESPN. The Cardinals travel to Kansas City for three games on Cox 7: 7 tonight, 6 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday. Among other games, Texas hosts Philadelphia, 7 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday, FSNSW; Houston hosts Boston, 7 tonight, FSNSW; the Mets host the Yankees, noon Sunday, TBS.

Auto racing: TNT will air the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at
New Hampshire International Speedway at 1 p.m. Sunday. This event begins the "Race for the Chase,” the 10-race stretch that precedes the Chase for the Championship.
