Big 12 media days: Next week, ESPNEWS (Cox 254) will provide extensive coverage of several conference football media days, including the Big 12 on Monday through Wednesday. ESPNU (Cox 253) also is carrying replays of four 2007 Big 12 games on Tuesday — Texas at Texas A&M, 9 a.m.; OU at Texas Tech, noon; Missouri at Kansas, 3 p.m.; and the Big 12 final, OU vs. Missouri, at 6 p.m.

‘College Football Live' returns: ESPN's "College Football Live,” a weekday afternoon studio show, will return Monday and will now be aired year-round. Molly Qerim will handle expanded live feedback, including daily online polls and fans who upload sound-offs. Brent Musburger will host the first two shows.

ESPN Radio changes: On Monday, ESPN Radio will launch "Football Tonight,” 6 to 7 weeknights, as hosts Freddie Coleman and John Siebel will look at the NFL and college football. The show will reair at 10 p.m. A one-hour "SportsCenter,” hosted by Doug Brown, will air at 11 p.m. Doug Gottlieb's show, "The Pulse with Doug Gottlieb,” shifts to 8-11 p.m.

Spotlight on Dale Jr.: "Dale Jr. – Shifting Gears,” the documentary chronicling NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his unprecedented move from the team founded by his father to Hendrick Motorsports, returns for the final two episodes at 6 p.m. Tuesday and July 25 on ESPN.

Short takes: HBO takes an in-depth look at women's gymnastics and interviews Miami Dolphins executive Bill Parcells during the next edition of "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel,” which debuts at 9 p.m. Tuesday. ... Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer has joined ESPN as an NFL studio analyst. ... The NFL Network plans to air 65 exhibition games, including eight live.
