Auto racing: ESPN makes its NASCAR Sprint Cup season debut with the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard at noon Sunday from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Baseball: In a big AL East rivalry, Boston hosts the N.Y. Yankees, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, KOKH-25; 7 p.m. Sunday, ESPN; St. Louis travels to the N.Y. Mets, 6 p.m. Saturday, noon Sunday; Cox 7; the Chicago Cubs host Florida, 1 p.m. Friday, noon Saturday, WGN; 1 p.m. Sunday, TBS.

Arena football: the Philadelphia Soul (15-3) faces the defending champion San Jose SaberCats (13-5) in ArenaBowl XXII from New Orleans at 2 p.m. Sunday on KOCO-5. The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz host Amarillo at 7 p.m. Saturday on KSBI-52.
