Network team to call OU opener: Although OU's season-opening football game against Chattanooga on Aug. 30 will be available only on pay-per-view, a network broadcast team will call the game. Tim Brando and former OU running back Spencer Tillman, partners on CBS' "College Football Today” studio show, will broadcast the game. Former OU quarterback Paul Thompson and FSN Southwest's Emily Jones will be the sideline reporters. KWTV-9 sports director Dean Blevins, a former OU quarterback, will host the telecast. To commemorate Bob Stoops' 10th season as OU coach, Blevins will interview former Sooner players about Stoops' impact on the OU program. The 6 p.m. game will be produced for a suggested price of $29.95.

FSN Southwest replays OU games: Next week FSN Southwest will air one-hour versions of two OU 2007 football games: the 24-21 loss at Colorado at 11 a.m. Tuesday and the 41-31 victory over Missouri at 11 a.m. Thursday.

•"Express” moving to KOCO-5: "The Oklahoma High School Sports Express,” hosted by Van Shea Iven, is moving to 10:30 p.m. Saturday on KOCO-5. The half-hour show will return from its summer break this week with a recap of the Oklahoma Coaches Association All State Games. Iven, who was a sportscaster for 17 years at KFOR-4, also will post high school coverage on HighSchool Playbook.com at KOCO.com.

Ross Porter's show added: Ross Porter's "Real Sports Heroes,” one-minute vignettes on people in sports who are doing worthwhile things, has begun airing at 3 p.m. weekdays on Jox 930 and 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Shawnee's KGFF-AM 1450. Porter, a former NBC and Los Angeles Dodgers sportscaster from Shawnee, launched the show nine months ago in Los Angeles.
