What to watch

•Olympics: NBC's coverage tonight, 7 to 11 on KFOR-4, is highlighted by swimming as Michael Phelps goes for another gold medal in the 100 butterfly. It also will include beach volleyball and the U.S. men's volleyball team facing China. Saturday night's schedule, 6:30 to 11, includes the women's marathon, 100-meter men's final and swimming.

•NFL preseason: The NFL Network (Cox 252) has picked up Brett Favre's first game as New York Jets quarterback at 6 p.m. Saturday as the Jets host Washington. Dallas plays at Denver at 8 p.m. Saturday on KOCB-34. The Super Bowl champion New York Giants host Cleveland at 7 p.m. Monday on ESPN.
