Sooners land QB commitment
Late interest on both sides didn't get in the way of Oklahoma finally finding its quarterback for the recruiting class of 2009.
Drew Allen , a three-star prospect from San Antonio 's Alamo Heights High School , committed to the Sooners Sunday.
Allen is the first quarterback in the Sooners' 2009 class, giving OU a third scholarship quarterback for 2009 to go with Sam Bradford and Landry Jones .
