Anonymous winner collects $29.3 million lottery prize
An anonymous trust has collected a $29.3 million prize from the July 2 Powerball drawing, Oklahoma lottery officials announced today.
The Zorro Trust presented the winning ticket last week, said Rebecca Fast , a lottery spokeswoman.
The jackpot was $85 million. The winner chose the lump-sum payout, which reduced the prize by about half. After taxes, the trust collected $29.3 million.
