TULSA — Tulsa Zoo officials say a failed pregnancy is a possible cause of death for one of the zoo's giraffes.

The giraffe, named Georgina, had lived at the zoo for almost 21 years before dying on Saturday. An official cause of death hasn't been determined.

The zoo says in a press release that Georgina had given birth in the past, with the most recent calf being born in 1999.

Georgina came to the Tulsa Zoo from the Philadelphia Zoo in 1987.

Zoo officials say they plan to bring another giraffe to Tulsa.
