Things to know about dove hunting
•Dove Season: Sept. 1-Oct. 30 statewide. An additional 10-day season is Dec. 27 through Jan. 5 in southwest Oklahoma only, covering all or portions of Harmon, Comanche, Jackson, Tillman, Cotton, Stephens and Jefferson counties.
•Bag limit: Fifteen birds daily for most of the state.
Twelve birds daily in the southwest dove zone.
