Here are state-by-state estimated new cancer cases for 2008 from the American Cancer Society.br> The numbers exclude basal and squamous cell skin cancers and in situ carcinomas, except urinary bladder.


The ACS notes that estimates are "a rough guide and should be interpreted with caution."
Note that state numbers given have been rounded off and total 1,435,210. The ACS estimate for the United States is actually 1,437,180.
