OKC Thunder: White out 4 to 6 months

D.J. White will miss four to six months because of a benign growth in his jaw, the team announced Thursday night.

White is scheduled to undergo surgery next week. Doctors must take a bone graft from his hip to mend the bone in his jaw. White, the 29th overall pick out of Indiana, is with the team on its current road trip and is participating in light contact drills, but he hasn’t practiced since the team started training camp.

You're right Brandon. I'm sure the NBA and NFL just love to pay guy's to sit out for the year. What's your point?
