A+ Run blocking: Texas had allowed less than 50 rushing yards per game, but OSU's offensive line opened up plenty of big holes Saturday. Kendall Hunter finished with 161 yards and OSU had 217 overall.

C-minus Pass blocking: The OSU front had allowed five sacks in the first seven games, but allowed five Saturday, leaving Zac Robinson to scramble out of the pocket on several occasions.

B+ Victor Johnson: The true freshman from Waco, Texas, had a 52-yard kickoff return in the first quarter. He entered the game as a nickelback in the second half and finished with three tackles.

A Government support: Gov. Brad Henry and First Lady Kim Henry, dressed in orange, attended the game and sat in a box with OSU president Burns Hargis. Henry, an admitted OU fan growing up, said, “This is the game of the day.”

Unfortunately, the defense gets a C. Our defensive line was getting stopped every time and even our blitzes were getting plugged. We couldn't stop them on 3rd down even if it was long. We did come up with 3 turnovers (one on downs) but those should have helped us keep or extend a lead--not get us back within a score.

g...that is an ingnorant comment...Sextons late hit was questionable at best considering he came up underneath the pads and was in fluid motion that he couldnt just call the hit off BUT there were other plays that cost us the game including Fodge not flopping on the punt....but all in all the players played lights out and gave it their best...time to move on and get ready for Iowa St. Go Pokes

g...that is BS. What about Hunter's fumble in the red zone? What about ZR not throwing the ball away when he was out of the pocket in lieu of taking the sack? How about Price getting burned in the corner of the endzone for a TD? You can't blame it on any one person, any one play...that is bush league. They played as a team and they lost as a team. Heck of a game, heck of an effort, proud of our guys.

Sexton's lack of disciple was the biggest factor in our loss yesterday.

Half of those sacks could have been avoided if Zac had thrown the ball away. Considering the reputation of Orakpo and the other Texas defenders, I think that the OSU pass blocking exceeded expectations.

Douglas- Never mind the fact that the offense kept us in the game in the first 3 quarters while our defense was struggling. This was a true team effort. Zac played fine and did exactly what he needed to do to put us in a position to win at the end.

Texas has no run. They picked us apart in the passing game where they are second to none. Let's see, we fumbled in the red zone, roughed up McCoy giving back a pick. Yeah, somebody better get on Zac about those. Maybe you douglas. Have your mom help you with the big words.

Defense A: Played Texas as tough as anyone in the country thus far. Was stout against the run.

Offense C: If the passing game had clicked just a little more and gotten into the B or C game the Pokes win. ZR needs to show himself capable of coming up big in big games.
