TULSA — The Oklahoma City Blazers spoiled Tulsa’s first game in the newly finished BOK Center on Saturday night with a 5-1 win over the Oilers that didn’t begin to take shape until early in the third period.

Oklahoma City capitalized on a game misconduct penalty on Oilers captain Jeff Christian. The Blazers scored three goals, including two from right winger Simon Lambert. Tyler Harder scored the first at 3:57. His shot hit an Oiler in front of the net, and the puck changed directions, sliding just inside the right post.

Lambert got into the act next, putting the game away with two more goals in the period. The first, a power-play goal, came at 5:57, and his second came just one minute later, making it 4-1.
